It's strange - only one ingredient is different than in the tomato salad with sour cream familiar to us from childhood, but according to perception, this was a new dish for us! Perhaps his secret was a huge amount of black pepper, uncharacteristic of Russian cuisine. But in our family, Aunt Mona's recipe has taken root precisely in such a conservative and concise form, in which she herself showed it to us. We didn't add or subtract anything. It has no greens, no garlic, but it is delicious without them, believe me!

The recipe for a salad with cottage cheese and tomatoes has very few ingredients, it is cheap in season, elementary in preparation and suitable for any time of the day and for any meal (well, except for lean and vegan ones, of course). You can have it for breakfast, and with meat, and with boiled potatoes ... But also on festive table don't be ashamed! In general, despite the simplicity, I would like to introduce you to this recipe: maybe for you it will be as useful a little culinary discovery as it is for us.
