Hello, hello! During the apple harvest season, the question of how to prepare these fruits for future use becomes relevant. The most popular preparations are:, or all kinds of compotes. More experienced chefs make real fruits out of them. But few people process fruits into purees, but in vain. After all, the dessert turns out very tasty and healthy.

Applesauce is usually prepared according to one recipe, and classic version involves a brew without any additives. This, in turn, is good because the product can be used in baby food and used as complementary food for babies. Usually the treat has sweet and sour taste and has a pronounced fruit aroma.

If you are making treats for children, I recommend using baby food jars for rolling, it’s very convenient!

You can use all the recipes as a basis, they are proven and 100% high quality. And in order to diversify the taste of the dessert, instead of sugar, you can add berries, other fruits, cream and condensed milk, as well as ground cinnamon.

I want to point out one thing right away important point. The less heat treatment of fruits, the more vitamins will be retained in the fruit. Therefore, to reduce heat treatment, it is advisable to cut the apples as little as possible.

Ingredients:

  • Apples -1 kg;
  • Sugar - 150 gr.;
  • Water - 200 ml.

If you have very sweet fruits, then add much less sugar.

Cooking method:

1. Rinse the fruits well and remove the peel. Then cut the fruits in half and cut out the core, and cut the apples themselves into large cubes. Place them in a saucepan.

2. Fill the pieces with water and place the pan on the stove. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer the contents for 20 minutes, stirring the contents occasionally.

3. After cooking, cool the fruits. And then grind them with a blender or rub through a sieve.

4. Add sugar to the puree consistency and stir. Put it back on the fire and bring the treat to a boil.

Sugar can be replaced with honey.

5. As soon as the treat boils, turn off the heat and pour into sterilized jars. Seal the preparations tightly, cool and store in a cool and dark place.

Applesauce “Nezhenka” with condensed milk

Many people think that since we are preparing a homogeneous mass, then any fruit will do, even those that are already beginning to rot. They say we’ll cut off all the bad places and everything will be fine. In fact, this is not so, and such fruits cannot be used in cooking. Otherwise you will ruin the whole taste.

Therefore, if you want to get a real tasty treat, then under no circumstances cut everything. And take advantage of the following technologies. Condensed milk will make the delicacy truly magical and tender.

Ingredients:

  • Apples - 2 kg;
  • Condensed milk - 100 ml;
  • Water - 400 ml.

If you have store-bought fruit, be sure to cut off the peel. Since they are very often processed and waxed.

Cooking method:

1. Wash the fruits, cut out the core, peel and remove bruised areas. Cut into slices and place in a saucepan.

You can choose any variety of apples for making puree.

2. Now pour water.

3. Bring everything to a boil, reduce heat and simmer the contents until the fruits soften. Don't forget to stir the fruit.

4. Then lower the blender and chop the apples. Add condensed milk, put the pan on the fire. Bring to a boil again and simmer for a few minutes.

5. Now place the dessert in clean and heated jars, close with sterile lids.

A simple recipe for apple puree without sugar for children

If you are going to prepare a treat for small children and give it to infants, then choose only green and yellow apple varieties. Since red fruits can cause allergies. Naturally, adding sugar is also not recommended.

Ingredients:

  • Apples - 3 kg;
  • Water - 300 ml.

Cooking method:

1. Wash the fruits thoroughly and sort them.

2. Remove the core from the fruits and cut them into slices. Then place the pieces into the pan. Pour water over the apples and place over low heat. Bring the mixture to a boil.

During the heating process, the fruit should release juice, which should cover all the pieces. If the fruits are not all covered with juice, then after boiling, stir the contents so that the juice is distributed evenly.

3. After boiling, boil the contents for 5-7 minutes until the fruits are soft. Then cool them and grind them through a sieve or using a food processor.

4. You should have a soft puree.

5. Next, transfer the dessert into a saucepan and cover with a lid. Bring to a boil and boil for 1 minute. Then remove from heat and immediately pour into sterilized jars. Roll up the glass and cool. Place it in storage.

Many people ask the question: is it possible to prepare dessert without sterilization? And how long will such a preparation be stored? The answer is simple: it can take a long time. After all, we will simply simplify the sterilization process and will not boil the filled jars, but will only cover them with a towel. While the glass is cooling, the delicacy is being sterilized. This will ensure good storage in the future.

Apple and pear puree according to the simplest recipe for the winter

Don’t forget that dessert can not only be drunk with tea, spread on bread, but also used as a filling for pies or even as a base for juice.

I note that puree usually has a fairly thick consistency. Therefore, if you want to get a more liquid version, then add another pear to the composition. It is much juicier than apples, so the dessert will be softer and more tender.

Ingredients:

  • Apples - 2 kg;
  • Pears - 2 kg;
  • Lemon - 1 pc.;
  • Sugar - 4 cups.

Cooking method:

1. Wash and peel the apples. Grind them in a blender, squeeze out the resulting puree, and pour the juice into a separate bowl.

2. Do the same with pears: wash, peel, chop and squeeze. Mix juice with apple juice.

Combine apple and pear puree, add squeezed lemon juice, mix and add sugar. And then pour in the juice that was obtained by squeezing the fruit.

3. Place the mixture on the fire and bring to a boil, stirring the contents occasionally. Sterilize the jars and boil the lids. After boiling, immediately place the dessert into prepared containers.

4. Cover the jars with lids and place them on water bath for 20 minutes.

    First of all, you need to secure the preservation by sterilizing the containers and lids. One of the most common methods is to boil jars and lids for 5 minutes, or steam glass containers by holding them over boiling water for about 20 minutes. For the specified amount of fruit you will need 3 half-liter jars, but it is best to take very small jars.

    We thoroughly wash the fruits under water and peel them, cut them and remove the seed box. We cut the fruits into small slices, put them in one pan, fill them with water and put them on the fire.

    Cook until the main sign that everything is ready appears - the softness of the ingredients. This usually takes 40 minutes.

    After this, grind the fruit through a sieve. If you have a blender, it is best to use it - thanks to this device, the mass will be more homogeneous and will not contain large pieces, which is important when feeding a baby who does not yet know how to chew.

    The puree is ready. We transfer it into sterilized jars, seal them and transfer them to the pantry.

    Advice: Don’t rush to throw away peels and fruit cores! You can make a wonderful compote from them. At the end of cooking, simply strain it through a sieve, and a delicious, and most importantly, healthy fruit drink will be ready. Those who like to experiment can even try making jam from the leftovers. Believe me, the taste will be no worse than when cooked from whole apples or pears.

    Recipe for baby puree from apples and zucchini for the winter

    Try making puree from seemingly incompatible products: apples and zucchini! It will turn out very tender, tasty and healthy.

    Cooking time: 1 hour 30 minutes

    Number of servings: 20

    Energy value

    • calories – 32.5 kcal;
    • proteins – 0.42 g;
    • fats – 0.31 g;
    • carbohydrates – 6.63 g.

    Ingredients

    • apples – 2 kg;
    • zucchini – 1.5 kg;
    • filtered water – 2.5 cups.

    Step-by-step preparation

    1. First, let's prepare a container for the puree. Jars and lids must be sterilized. 100 gram containers are ideal for baby purees. You will need about 20 pcs. Due to their small size and large quantity, it is most convenient to simply boil them.
    2. Wash the apples thoroughly, peel them, and cut out the cores. Cut the fruit into arbitrary pieces of the same size (so that they cook evenly).
    3. We cut off the ends of the zucchini, remove all the peel - it certainly has no use in baby puree. Cut into small slices.
    4. You need to cook the ingredients in different pans, as they have different cooking times. Place vegetables and fruits in containers. Fill the zucchini with a glass of water, but the apples will need at least one and a half glasses of liquid.
    5. Cook until ingredients are completely softened, about 25 minutes. The cooking time for apples depends on their variety; on average, it takes about a quarter of an hour, but, for example, Antonovka takes longer.
    6. Now, using a colander, drain the broth from both pans, but do not pour it out, since we will need it later. Combine vegetables and fruits, beat them into a homogeneous mass using a blender. You can use a meat grinder, but if you want to make the puree homogeneous, then repeat the scrolling at least 2 times, or even more. If the puree turns out to be too thick, add the broth, adjusting the consistency of the dish.
    7. Now put the pan with the fruit and vegetable mixture on the stove. Cook for about half an hour, stirring constantly. During boiling, the puree will splash quite heavily, so the heat should be minimal, and it is better to cover the dishes with a lid.

    The puree is ready. Place it in prepared jars. During the packaging process, small bubbles form in the puree; they must be eliminated with a knife or small spoon. If you don’t do this, the workpiece will not last long. The sealed jars must be placed upside down and wrapped. We transfer everything to a place prepared for storage after it has completely cooled.

    • plums – 3 kg;
    • water – 150-200 ml.

    Step-by-step preparation

    1. First, you will need to take care of sterilizing the jars. One of the most popular methods is steam sterilization. Having a steamer or multicooker with the “Steam” function and a special attachment will greatly simplify the process. The jars are usually placed over steam with the neck down for about 20 minutes, and the lids are boiled.
    2. When the utensils for twisting are prepared, you can safely start cooking. Let's start with apples. They need to be peeled and the seed box cut out. Cut the fruit into arbitrary pieces and place in a saucepan.
    3. Wash the plums and remove the pits. We send the fruits, which can also be cut, to the apples.
    4. Fill everything with a glass of purified water and set to cook. The puree will take an hour and a half to prepare. During this, you need to constantly monitor the amount of water and add it if necessary so that the puree does not turn out too thick.
    5. Now we need a blender. It is most convenient to use a submersible one. Puree the mass.

    The puree is ready. We put it in jars and roll up the lids tightly. You need to cool the workpieces under a warm blanket or rug - this will facilitate additional sterilization.

    Advice: Small jars (100, 120 or 150 ml) are suitable for preparing puree. You can use commercial baby food containers. Before preservation, they must be thoroughly washed with soda, and also ensure that there are no defects (chips, cracks, etc.). It is advisable to use new covers.

    Homemade fruit baby puree It is best stored in the refrigerator as it does not contain various preservatives and sugar. But if your pantry is dark and cool enough, the preparations will be perfectly preserved there too. Follow the recipe strictly, boil and chop the fruit well, then your puree will turn out not only as good as store-bought, but ten times better, tastier and healthier. At the very least, the baby will definitely gobble up such a treat on both cheeks.

I finally became convinced that without applesauce the cabinet with winter preservation looks inferior. Very useful preparation This is apple and pear puree. For example, there is no desire to prepare porridge for children for breakfast or there is nothing suitable for a snack - we go to the pantry, take a jar of applesauce (apple-pear, apple-plum), open it and forget about these little difficulties. The fact is that applesauce is so satisfying (which you wouldn’t think at first glance), because at least a dozen apples are sealed in this half-liter jar. Therefore, such a breakfast has a place to be.

This year I made a lot of applesauce (pure apple, apple-pear, apple-plum), and filled my hand for the rest of my life. And I am very glad that I learned how to prepare this wonderful product, because, it turns out, there is nothing easier than preparing several half-liter jars of such fruit puree. Let me tell you more about this recipe, and perhaps it will serve you this apple season.

Apple and pear puree for the winter, step-by-step recipe with photos

I decided to make my applesauce and pears in the slow cooker. At that time, my large saucepan was occupied, and applesauce, as you understand, should be cooked in a larger-than-average container. And in our case, there is no difference where to cook the apples, the main thing is to cook them correctly.

Yes, I also want to draw attention to the fact that it is difficult to calculate the volume of puree at the exit. A 4 quart pan of coarsely chopped apples yields approximately 3 pint jars of applesauce. Perhaps a little more.

Wash apples and pears. Apples should prevail over pears in a ratio of 3:1 (or so, although I do not exclude that in other cases it will also turn out no less tasty). We cut the fruit into quarters, cut out the core and quarters, in turn, cut them into 2-3 parts.

Place the fruits in a saucepan (or, like me, in a multicooker bowl) and add 500 ml of clean drinking water. Place the pan on medium heat until boiling (under a loosely covered lid), then reduce the heat to low and cook the apples and pears for 35-40 minutes. In the case of a multicooker, I cooked the fruit in the “boil” mode for 40 minutes. If you prepare puree in a saucepan, then you will still have to stir its contents two or three times so that the top layers of fruit can also be in the liquid.

This is what happened as a result of boiling fruit. Now this mass should be brought to mind and turned into apple and pear puree.

In the case of our puree, we do not need the peels of apples and pears. And we need to get rid of it. To do this, we take a sieve, this is sold in every hardware store (I recommend getting one, it is very multifunctional and costs a penny). Place the sieve on top of a clean pan; here you can take a smaller volume of dishes. Place portions of boiled fruit in a sieve and grind everything using a spoon. The pulp will end up in the pan, and the thin fruit skins will remain in the sieve.

Take a closer look at this process. The skins of boiled apples and pears become so thin that they become almost transparent. All that remains is to collect them with a clean spoon from the surface of the sieve and throw them away. Well, then put the next batch of boiled fruit into the sieve.

So, the grinding process is complete and we have a pan full of pulp. But it still doesn't taste much like applesauce. The structure is not yet homogeneous.

We're almost at the finish line. Take an immersion blender and puree the fruit pulp thoroughly. Before our eyes, it will transform and become smooth and uniform.
