Raw beans contain a harmful substance that is poorly absorbed by the body and can cause problems with the gastrointestinal tract, so they need to be boiled before stewing or frying.

Cooking process:

  • Rinse the meat and cut into medium-sized cubes, fry in oil on all sides.
  • Cut the onion into pieces and add to the meat, fry everything together for 10 minutes.
  • Fry the boiled beans and finely chopped garlic in a separate frying pan in vegetable oil for 8-10 minutes. Finally, add salt and pepper, seasoning as desired.
  • Place all prepared ingredients in a stewing container, add a little water and simmer over low heat for another 5 minutes, stirring.

If desired, drizzle the dish with sesame oil or sprinkle with sesame seeds.

Turkey with beans and tomatoes

Required Products:

  • Turkey ─ 450 gr.
  • Green pods – 370 gr.
  • Onions – 1.5 pcs.
  • Tomatoes – 5 pcs.
  • Garlic – 5 teeth.
  • Vegetable oil – 25 ml.
  • Greens – 100 gr.
  • Salt, pepper – 10 gr.

How to cook:

  1. Cut the fillet into medium pieces, fry in vegetable oil, and transfer to a container for stewing.
  2. Cut the onions into thin slices, tomatoes into small slices, finely chop the herbs and garlic, add the boiled beans. Fry all this for 5 minutes.
  3. Add fried vegetables to the meat, add a little water, simmer for 12-16 minutes.

The dish can be served on its own or with a side dish.

Green beans with turkey and cream

Ingredients:

  • Turkey fillet – 550 gr.
  • Pods – 430 gr.
  • Onions - 3 pcs.
  • Cream – 200 ml.
  • Salt, pepper - to taste.
  • Sunflower oil – 35 ml.
  • Greens - a bunch.

Preparation:

  1. Cut the onion into slices and fry in oil until soft.
  2. Cut the turkey into cubes and add to the onion, fry for 10 minutes.
  3. Then add the boiled beans, reduce the heat and fry for 7 minutes, add salt and pepper.
  4. Turn the heat to low, pour in the cream and bring it to a boil, stirring, and simmer for another 5 minutes.

Before serving, decorate the dish with herbs.

Cooking turkey and beans doesn't take long. As a result, you get a complete second course ─ nutritious, healthy and tasty. It can be served at the everyday table and for a festive feast.

Stewed turkey fillet with carrots and green beans is not a delicacy, but an ordinary one everyday dish. Considering the size of turkey fillets, it will be enough for a small family for several days... or for one time, but for a large family. Or a moderate sized crowd of guests.

The unremarkability of this food makes one think of English cuisine (and this is indeed an English dish) - but there is a pleasant surprise hidden in English cuisine (traditional). Despite the dull taste of British food (or maybe precisely because of it), it is very well suited for daily consumption: traditional English dishes are simple, satisfying and do not become boring. You can eat roast beef with bread or fish and chips for months (however, to replenish the vitamin balance you need - following the example of Lord Palmerston - to eat at least one orange every day). Stewed turkey fillet with carrots and green beans is also from this series (also with vitamins): it doesn’t seem like anything special, but you can eat it every day.

The dish is simple. Few ingredients:

  • turkey fillet - one and a half kilograms
  • carrots - 400-500 grams; these are two pretty large carrots
  • about half a kilogram of green beans (a pack of frozen ones is fine)
  • medium bulb
  • three to four tablespoons of flour
  • salt (to my taste about three teaspoons)
  • ground black pepper (to taste)
  • 30 grams butter
  • tablespoon refined sunflower or corn oil

In fact, there may be a little more or a little less vegetables - this will not affect the result.

Cooking stewed turkey fillet with carrots and green beans

  1. Rub the turkey fillet with two teaspoons of salt and black ground pepper; then roll well in flour.
  2. Cut the carrots into thin rings, the onion into small cubes; put everything in a separate bowl.
  3. Heat in a heavy-bottomed saucepan over medium heat. vegetable oil and melt the butter in it.
  4. Fry the turkey fillet in oil until browned on both sides; it's about 7-10 minutes per side.
  5. Place onions, carrots and green beans. Season with remaining salt (teaspoon). Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer for three to four hours. Every half hour, look into the pan, check the liquid level and turn the turkey fillet. Ideally, it should be stewed in own juice, but if the liquid evaporates too quickly, you can add water.
  6. Add a pinch of black pepper and simmer for another five minutes. Remove the turkey fillet, place it on a plate, cut into slices, arrange the vegetables around and pour over the sauce. Wait ten minutes and start dividing.

Delicious with rice, boiled potatoes or mashed potatoes. It tastes best when it’s hot; but it stands well in the refrigerator - and it will also be delicious warmed up.

By the way, you can cook veal and chicken fillet in the same way.

  • 1 tsp. lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp. l. sesame seeds
  • 1 tsp. dark sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp. l. soy sauce

STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE

Cut the turkey fillet into thin strips, place in a saucepan, pour in 1/2 cup boiling water with lemon juice and simmer over low heat, sprinkled with salt and sesame seeds, for 7–10 minutes. Use a slotted spoon to transfer to a bowl.

Break off the ends of the beans, if necessary, remove the tough “string”. Break pods that are too long in half.

In the same pan where you cooked the turkey, add the beans and cook for 4-5 minutes. The beans should not become too soft!
Return to the pan stewed fillet. Peel and crush the garlic, mix with soy sauce and sesame oil. Pour into the pan and heat for 1-2 minutes. Serve the turkey and beans hot.
