It is advisable that the shins are completely thawed. In this recipe, I suggest using kefir as a marinade, which is very rich in vitamins and minerals and is perfect for marinating chicken. Chicken meat becomes soft and with a pleasant creamy aroma.

So, to prepare of this dish you will need:

  • Chicken drumsticks 5-6 pieces
  • Kefir
  • Mayonnaise
  • Garlic
  • Salt, pepper, herbs

Rub the washed and dried drumsticks thoroughly with salt, then grate garlic, pepper and herbs (you can use Provençal ones). Place the drumsticks in a container for marinating and pour in kefir, completely immersing them in the mixture (if the drumsticks are still not completely covered, you need to turn them over periodically) and leave them in the refrigerator for 5-6 hours. Or marinate overnight in advance. This is the highlight. The longer it is marinated, the more tender the meat becomes.

After marinating, transfer to a frying pan and pour in the same sauce. Coat the top of the chicken with additional mayonnaise. And cook for 40-50 minutes at a temperature of 220 degrees.

Ideal for baking cast iron or ceramic tableware, it heats up evenly, and the likelihood of burning is minimal. You can also use foil, parchment paper or an ovenproof liner.

To check the readiness of our dish, you need to pierce the meat in the thickest place, if the juice is clear and pierced easily, your dish is ready! It can be served with any side dish: vegetables or cereals. Almost any product goes well with chicken.

At the same time, I cooked potatoes in foil, which I washed, peeled, and rubbed with salt, mayonnaise, herbs and black pepper. You can add black cumin seeds, but I did not use them in this recipe. And baked it with chicken drumsticks. The potatoes also need to be pierced, and if they are easily pierced, then our side dish is ready.

INGREDIENTS:
800 g chicken legs,

PREPARATION:
1. To prepare chicken legs in kefir with mustard, you first need to wash the chicken, dry it and, if desired, remove the skin.
2. Add spices to the chicken, garlic, mustard, salt and pepper, passed through a press, mix.
3. Pour in kefir and stir again.
4. Place the chicken in the refrigerator to marinate for 30-60 minutes.
5. Then place the marinated chicken legs in kefir and mustard in a heat-resistant form and bake in the oven, preheated to 190 degrees, for about 40-50 minutes.
6. Serve chicken legs in kefir with mustard with vegetables, boiled potatoes etc.

  5. Pour oil into a heated frying pan, add the fillet and fry until golden brown.
  6. Lay out the onions and beans, after 10 minutes pour in the kefir.
  7. The meat is ready in 10-15 minutes.

If you add 3-4 potatoes, cut into quarters, to the dish according to this recipe along with onions, you will get meat with a side dish - two in one.

Ingredients:

  • 7 legs;
  • 1 tbsp. not too fatty kefir;
  • 1 tsp. mustard seeds;
  • 3 cloves of garlic;
  • 1 tsp. salt;
  • 30 ml olive oil;
  • spices (dried dill, oregano, basil, parsley);
  • ground pepper (to your taste).

Preparation:

  1. Remove the skin from the legs.
  2. Mix spices, mustard, salt and pepper.
  3. Chop the garlic with a garlic clove and add to the mixture.
  4. Rub the drumsticks with spices, place them in a bowl, pour kefir over them and leave to marinate for 30 minutes.
  5. On hot frying pan pour oil, lay out the legs and fill with the remaining marinade.
  6. Simmer for about 30 minutes over medium heat.
